FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the operation of low-yield wells equipped with electrically driven centrifugal pumps. A method for periodically operating a well with a submersible pumping unit with an electric drive includes alternating periods of pumping and accumulation of liquid in the well when the unit is turned off, regulating the time-average flow of the unit to match the flow rate of the well, selecting a pump shaft rotation speed that ensures the maximum value of pump efficiency during pumping, control monitoring the pressure at the pump inlet using a submersible pressure sensor and pumping out the liquid until the specified minimum pressure is reached at the pump inlet. Coordination of pump performance and well flow rate is carried out by adjusting the ratio between the duration of periods of pumping and accumulation of fluid in the well. At the same time, the temperature of the windings of the submersible electric motor and the temperature of the liquid at the pump intake are monitored using temperature sensors located on the installation of the electric centrifugal pump. The duration of the pumping period is set to the maximum at which the temperature of the windings of the submersible electric motor and the temperature of the liquid at the pump intake do not exceed the maximum permissible values.
EFFECT: improved efficiency and reliability of operation of electrically driven centrifugal pump installations in low-yield wells.
