METHOD FOR SIMULATING LONG-TERM NON-HEALING SKIN WOUNDS IN EXPERIMENT ON BACKGROUND OF FORMATION OF CONDITIONAL MODEL OF COMORBID PATIENT Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61K31/133 A61P9/04 A61K31/505 A61P5/16 G09B23/28

Abstract RU 2814758 C1

FIELD: medicine; traumatology; combustiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to simulate a long-term non-healing wound. In laboratory animals, hemodynamic disturbance is simulated by formation of chronic heart failure by daily 5-minute free swimming of the laboratory animal sequentially for 20 days with underlying intraperitoneal administration of 0.05 ml of 0.1% Mesatonum solution per each 100 g of laboratory animal weight. Further, 4 days before the experimental skin injury, severe drug hypothyroidism is induced by oral administration of propylthiouracil in dose of 1.0±0.2 mg per 100 g of laboratory animal weight once a day. Preparation is continued in this mode throughout the experiment. Skin is injured by applying a thermal burn to rats using a cylindrical steel applicator with a flat working part in the form of a circle with diameter of 20 mm. It is heated to constant temperature before exposure of the rat by immersing the applicator in boiling water for two minutes. Duration of application is 40 seconds.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to produce a model of a long-term non-healing wound, which is a conditional model of a comorbid patient, which can be used for further evaluation of regenerative properties of drugs.
