SUBSTANCE: parameter value for the current block is obtained, which indicates the partitioning mode for the current block. The first and the second prediction modes for the current block are obtained. First and second prediction values for the chrominance sample in the current block are generated according to the first and second prediction modes, respectively. A combined prediction value is obtained by combining the first prediction value and the second prediction value. Here, a weight value for the luma sample is obtained by calculating the weight value for the luma sample, and a first weight value for the chrominance sample is obtained by calculating the first weight value for the chroma sample. A combined prediction value for the chroma sample in the current block is obtained according to the first prediction value for the chroma sample and the first weight value for the chroma sample.
