FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to rigid polyurethane foam material for insulation in conditions of ultra-low temperatures, as well as to a method for production thereof. Rigid polyurethane foam material includes 30–50 wt.pts. multifunctional polyether polyol, 30–50 wt.pts. multifunctional polyester polyol, 50–80 wt.pts. toluene diisocyanate, 50–80 wt.pts. polymethylene polyphenyl polyisocyanate, 15–30 wt.pts. auxiliary foaming additive composition, and 5–20 wt.pts. continuous glass mat. Auxiliary foaming additive composition contains 10–20 wt.pts. polyether polydimethylsiloxane copolymer, 30–40 wt.pts. pentafluoropropane, 30–40 wt.pts. trans-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, 1–3 wt.pts. low-molecular weight amine catalyst and 1–3 wt.pts. organotin catalyst. Method of making rigid polyurethane foam material includes: (1) weighing raw materials; (2) mixing raw materials, with the exception of solid glass mat; (3) distributing the mixture on the even surface of the continuous glass mat for foaming and molding; and (4) hardening and cutting the article into segments for re-hardening to obtain a rigid polyurethane foam material.
EFFECT: obtained rigid polyurethane foam material has improved cryogenic insulation and can be continuously produced in confined space.
