SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for prevention of liver damage in acute pancreatitis. For this purpose, in the complex treatment of acute pancreatitis, Heptral is administered intravenously in dose of 400 mg for 5–10 days, starting from the first day of admission to hospital.
EFFECT: invention provides effective elimination of toxins and preventive use of the hepatoprotective preparation, which enables to prevent the development of hepatic failure.
