SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gastroenterology, and can be used for recovery of functional state of liver in severe acute pancreatitis. Method involves catheterisation and introduction of a drug into a round ligament of liver. Method includes external drainage of bile ducts, and in the postoperative period in a round ligament of liver through a catheter is introduced 400 mg of Heptral solution dissolved in 100 ml of 0.25% solution of novocaine once day for 5 days.
EFFECT: using the invention enables preventing the development of hepatic insufficiency by using the hepatoprotective and choleretic effects of the preparation Heptral and removing toxins by external drainage of the bile ducts.
