FIELD: nuclear engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear fuel assembly. Assembly comprises nuclear fuel rods (4) located along longitudinal axis (L), and support frame (6) configured to support nuclear fuel rods (4). Support frame (6) comprises two nozzles (8, 10), multiple guide tubes (12) connecting nozzles (8, 10) to each other, and spacer grids (14) fixed on guide tubes (12). Each spacer grid (14) supports nuclear fuel rods (4), wherein the nuclear fuel assembly further comprises at least one amplification device (20), comprising at least one reinforcing plate (22) in contact with at least two guide tubes (12) and secured to one or more of said guide tubes at attachment points (21). Each reinforcing plate (22) has at least two attachment points (21) offset relative to each other along longitudinal axis (L).
EFFECT: possibility of increasing rigidity of nuclear fuel assembly with simultaneous limitation of its weight and/or resistance to fluid medium flow passing through nuclear fuel assembly.
