FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to power supply of superconducting magnetic systems and is intended to effectively reduce heat transfer to cryogenic cooling devices. A device with dynamic field rotation for powering superconducting systems contains a hollow cylinder made of soft magnetic material and three pairs of coils with magnetic cores located inside the cylinder so that the angle between the axes of the coils is 60°, the windings of each pair of coils are connected through diodes to one of the phases of a three-phase network. In this case, a superconducting tape loop is installed between the edges of the middle coil, the ends of which are connected to the winding of a superconducting magnet.
EFFECT: reduction in energy costs for creating and maintaining the field by eliminating mechanically rotating magnets and simplifying the design using a non-contact (inductive) power supply method.
