FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to rolling bearings. Roller bearing comprises an inner or outer ring or both rings with convex spherical or toroidal thrust ends of the beads, a roller with convex spherical or toroidal ends, for which misalignment of roller axis relative to axis of bearing ring in plane containing both axes is taken into account. Other conditions being equal, convex profile of the ends of bearing ring beads and roller reduces displacement of contact point in case of misalignment relative to contact point in case of coaxial position away from ring rolling surface.
EFFECT: higher reliability of bearing operation, reduced speed of sliding and wear in contact of ends of rollers and beads of rings due to the closest position of contact point to raceway at misaligned position of rollers and rings of bearings.
