FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in units of machines and mechanisms with increased skew of shafts for perception of considerable external loads. Single-row spherical roller bearing comprises outer ring (1) with toroidal raceway, inner race (2) with spherical raceway, centre of which is displaced relative to centre of gravity of bearing along longitudinal axis depending on combination of radial and axial components of external load acting on bearing, conical rolling bodies (3) with concave profile conjugated with raceways, separator for separation of rolling bodies. Outer ring (1) toroidal surface has curvature equal to inner ring (2) raceway curvature, surface of rolling bodies (3) is conical globoid (4), longitudinal axes (5) of which intersect at one point O lying on the longitudinal axis of the bearing, and is described by the equation: where x1, y1, z1 are coordinates of points lying on surface of globoid, relative to proper axes of rotation of rolling bodies; α is angle of inclination of axis of symmetry of roller to longitudinal axis of bearing; γ is angle of conicity of globoid; R is the radius of curvature of the spherical surface of the raceways of the outer and inner races of the bearing; a is the distance from the point of intersection of the axes of symmetry of the rolling bodies, lying on the longitudinal axis of the bearing, to the centre of displacement of the external load relative to the centre of gravity of the bearing, and the length of the rolling body is determined by the combination of the radial and axial components of the external load acting on the bearing, at which peripheral points (1 and 1', 2 and 2', 3 and 3', 4 and 4') surfaces of rolling bodies (3), located on lines (6) of cone generators, describing globoid, contact with surfaces of raceways of rings (1) and (2).

EFFECT: improving operating efficiency of single-row spherical roller bearing by increasing its dynamic carrying capacity and reducing wear of contact surfaces.
