FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to helicopter navigation antenna systems. Result is achieved by the fact that a radio transparent radome of a navigation antenna system is provided, including wall with thickness of 1.0–2.5 mm, made of prepreg based on quartz fabric with dielectric constant ε=2.0–4.0, characterized by that the fairing wall is made from an even number of 4 to 8 layers of prepreg, between the middle layers of which there is a metal mesh, the thickness of the thread of which is 0.2–0.25 mm, and the cell size is 9.85 mm, wherein the geometric parameters of the cell are determined based on the average wavelength of the operating range, and the dimensions of the individual elements of the metal mesh are not less than 10 Λmax, where Λmax is the maximum wavelength of the operating range of the radar station, which is due to the manufacturability of the fairing, note here that grid spacing in separate elements is optimized due to difference in electromagnetic wave incidence depending on its location on radome surface.
EFFECT: minimum distortion of the directivity pattern of the radar antenna device at all scanning angles of the navigation antenna system, maximum transmission coefficient, increased strength.
