FIELD: radio-electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designs of radio-transparent shelters of direction-finding antennas of aircraft included in the antenna dome systems designed to operate in thermally loaded (high-temperature) conditions. The heat shield of the onboard antenna in the nose antenna dome comprises a radio-transparent dome installed in front of the radiating opening of the antenna, the shield is attached in the end non-radio-transparent zone to a metal adapter, and the upper radio-transparent part of the heat shield is made in the form of a cylindrical paraboloid and is the substrate of a fixed polarizing mirror of a two-mirror antenna system with linearly polarized emitter, made in the form of metal wires lying perpendicular to vector E, a field reflected from the reflecting mirror, installed on the inner surface of the substrate, the substrate is made of a three-layer structure of A-Sandwich type with the dielectric constant of the layers , where each layer has a thickness based on the maximum passage of an electromagnetic wave in a given frequency range and allowable temperature effects on the antenna elements, while the heat-insulating material is made in the form of a honeycomb filler made of fiberglass based on quartz fabric, the side walls of the screen are made similar to the substrate design and represent a three-layer structure together with it, are located with a minimum clearance relative to the walls of the nose fairing and have on the outer surface of the inner wall antenna elements of a broadband passive system of the radant type, attached to the inner side wall with hard adhesive.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of thermal protection of the antenna unit and functionality of the heat shield.
