FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical imaging and relates to an optical scanning unit. Unit comprises a light source, a first optical unit, a deflecting device and a lens f-θ. Light beam emitted from light source is focused on target scanning surface after successive passage through first optical unit, deflecting device and lens f-θ. Optical scanning directions of the light beam include a primary scanning direction and a secondary scanning direction, which are perpendicular to each other. Along the primary scanning direction, the lens f-θ satisfies expressions SAG1>0, SAG2>0, 0<(SAG1+SAG2)/d<0.8, where SAG denotes the deflection of the incidence surface or exit surface and SAG1 and SAG2 are the Z values of the incidence surface and the exit surface of the lens f-θ, and d is the central thickness of the lens f-θ.
EFFECT: reduced scanning error.
