SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, namely to methods and devices for applying wall coatings for external or internal use, and can be used when decorating walls, imitating manual laying, for example, from stone or brick. Stencil for applying the art composition in the form of masonry is made from a flat base with through holes forming the art composition in the form of masonry, an adhesive layer formed on one side of the base, a removable protective layer applied over the adhesive layer, wherein the base is made of paper with density of 300 to 1,600 g/m2, the adhesive layer is 0.3 to 1.5 mm thick, the protective layer is made of anti-adhesion siliconized paper.
EFFECT: reduction of labour intensity of painting composition in the form of masonry on the surface.
