FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to amorphous soft magnetic alloys based on Fe-Co, obtained by melt casting on crystallizer surface and its high-speed quenching, and can be used in devices whose characteristics are based on the effect of electromagnetic induction. Soft magnetic amorphous material based on iron and cobalt contains, at.%: Fe 58.2–68.0; Co 16.4–25.2; B 13–16; Si 0.9–1.1; P 0–1.1; C 0–1.1. Material is characterized by high value of saturation magnetisation 1.94–2.01 T with coercive force 6.6–10 A/m, maximum permeability 5,000–14,000.
EFFECT: material has the advantage of simple heat treatment mode and low annealing temperature.
