FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in high temperature annealing with conditioning and cooling to room temperature, thermo-magnetic treatment in constant magnetic field of strength 4-8 kA/m and in radiation of material with accelerated ions of inert gases at power of beam 40-50 keV with doses of 1016-1018 ion/cm2.
EFFECT: raised magnet-striction of soft magnetic materials at maintaining acceptable level of magnetic softness.
