FIELD: electrical communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication networks. Method comprises determining coordinates of location of communication nodes, calculating distances between communication nodes, forming a matrix of distances between communication nodes, designing a ring structure of the communication network according to the criterion of the minimum total length of all lines, wherein each node in the ring structure is connected to the other node closest to it by only one communication line, in the ring structure of the communication network the branching node ki is determined by finding the minimum median of the graph, designing a radial-node structure of the communication network, for which communication lines are laid from the communication node ki to other communication nodes of the ring structure of the network, switching two or more one-dimensional routes into a multidimensional route for transmitting messages according to the criterion of its minimum length, establishing time intervals for assessing survivability, estimating survivability of the communication network D ≥ Dreq, where D and Dreq are the estimated and required values of durability of the communication network, respectively, reconfigure the communication network with D < Dreq, for which the multidimensional message transmission route is uncommuted and the ring structure of the communication network is cut by a secant plane into two subnetworks, a branching communication node is calculated in the second formed subnetwork, to which the communication lines of the radial-node network located in the second subnetwork are connected, the subnetwork branching nodes are connected to each other and the multidimensional message transmission route is re-switched.

EFFECT: high survivability of a communication network owing to formation and reconfiguration of its structure, while ensuring minimum consumption of linear means.
