FIELD: fibre-optic communication networks.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre-optic communication networks with wavelength division multiplexing systems. Technical result is achieved due to fast reconfiguration of structure of fibre-optic communication network with spectral multiplexing systems for implementation of independent routes between any two corresponding communication nodes based on change of information on switching and distribution of wavelengths between communication nodes, wherein for establishing connections in each node forming a routing table, permanent connections in the cell are established between the cell nodes using six different wavelengths, connections between nodes of different cells are carried out in accordance with the routing table at an idle wavelength λr, where r is the number of the spectral channel from their total number – NSpChan and r=7…NSpChan.

EFFECT: high speed of operation, reliability and survivability of a fibre-optic communication network with wavelength division multiplexing systems.
