FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to weighing equipment, more specifically to design of platform scales and methods of damping oscillations of a load receiving platform. Device contains a load-receiving platform placed on the base, with installed weight-measuring sensors, as well as limiters of movements of the load-receiving platform in the horizontal direction. Limiters are made in the form of flexible steel plates having such a cross-section that the allowable stress in the plates is greater than or equal to the maximum force of the applied load at any of the contact points. At the same time they are fixed by non-detachable welded joint to load-receiving platform and base of scales.
EFFECT: reduced distortions of readings of scales, simplified design.
