FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises scales made up of cargo receiver platform arranged on foundation across the track on strain gages with their outputs connected to weight transducer, memory, unit to compare signals with tolerable axial loads, car axle counter, and indication and registration unit. Memory and reversible counter outputs are connected to processor as well as outputs of comparator and weight transducer. Rolling stock speed evaluator output is connected to transducer control input, while processor output is connected to aforesaid unit of indication and registration. Note here that reversible counter and comparator inputs are connected to axle counter and weight transducer output. Weighing over, weight of each axle is compared with tolerable axle load on the track. If only one axle exceeds accepted tolerance, rolling stock or overloaded car is moved back on the scales, weighed again to compare weight with the results of the first weighing.
EFFECT: expanded measurement range and higher accuracy.
