FIELD: veterinary science.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to domestic, industrial, and veterinary sanitation, particularly to rodent control. Rodenticide bait dosing device is a mechanical system consisting of a hollow tube and a piston with a graduated rod installed along the axis of the housing and spring-loaded by a compression return spring limited along the stroke of a locking cover. Tube is plugged on one side and has one metering hole. Rodenticide bait dispensing device can be further placed in a protective container comprising a base with side walls and a lid attached to the front wall of the base on hinges and equipped with a latch, which is opened by means of a double-beaded key, opposite walls of the container have an opening for passage of rodents, the diameter of which relates to the height of container as 1:1.2-1:1.5.

EFFECT: proposed device for dispensing rodenticide bait provides protection of rodenticide bait from the effects of atmospheric phenomena due to relatively low contact with the environment through the dispensing hole, increases service life of the bait, provides mechanical supply of a new portion of bait, increases efficiency of rodent control.
