FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry, in particular to piezoelectrochemical reactions stimulated by ultrasonic radiation, and can be used in oil industry for conversion of associated petroleum gas into carbon and hydrogen at oil production site. Method of producing solid carbon and hydrogen from associated petroleum gas is characterized by that associated petroleum gas is converted to hydrogen and carbon in a device comprising a quartz reactor with a system for feeding associated petroleum gas and a hydrogen removal system with a reservoir for its accumulation, filled with a liquid mixture consisting of 0.5Bi-0.25Sn-0.25Pb alloy drops, solid nanoparticles of piezoelectric BaTiO3 with size of 200 nm and glycerol C3H5(OH)3, an ultrasonic bath filled with an organosilicon liquid, a heating and thermal control system. Conversion process takes place at temperature of 110 °C, with irradiation of quartz reactor with ultrasonic radiation with power of 165 W, frequency of 40 kHz, wherein volume ratio of liquid alloy 0.5Bi-0.25Sn-0.25Pb and glycerol is 2:1, and weight ratio of alloy 0.5Bi-0.25Sn-0.25Pb and nanoparticles BaTiO3 is 92% and 8%.

EFFECT: obtaining target products from associated petroleum gas at low temperature and with high efficiency.
