FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method for preparing associated petroleum and natural gases for use in power plants, which consists in reducing the concentration of gas compounds having a low detonation characteristic and increasing the probability of resin and soot formation by a catalytic steam-carbon-dioxide conversion at a temperature not exceeding 450 °C, followed by the supply of converted gases to a fuel path of the engine of a power plant, while the engine of the power plant is a dual-fuel gas and diesel engine, which is initially launched on diesel fuel, off gases of the gas and diesel engine are fed to a catalyst unit of a catalytic reformer for its heating, after which the associated petroleum and natural gases are fed to a catalytic unit, while the atmospheric air and a part of the off-gas products of the gas and diesel engine, containing water vapor and carbon dioxide, are used as an oxidizer for the catalytic steam-and-carbon- dioxide conversion, and before the converted gases are fed to the fuel path of the gas and diesel engine, additional purification from mechanical particles and cooling are carried out.
EFFECT: simplification and cheaper technologies for the preparation of associated petroleum and natural gases for use in power plants with simultaneous increase of its technical characteristics.
