FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of polymer composites, particularly composite polymer piezoelectric materials used as piezo- and piezo-photocatalysts and as a mechanical energy collector. Disclosed is a piezoelectric and piezophotocatalytic composite material in the form of polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) nanofibres with embedded barium titanate nanoparticles in amount of 50 wt.% of the dry weight of PVDF. Proportion of the electroactive phase in polymer is 95.2%.
EFFECT: disclosed material combines properties of piezoceramics, high processability and flexibility of a polymer matrix.
