FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting equipment, light-emitting diode lamps, and namely to heat removal devices, that are radiators. Radiator is made in the form of a multilayer panel, which includes upper and lower plates, between which a honeycomb filler from sheet material is installed. Honeycomb filler is made in the form of an array of hollow cells in the form of hexagonal prisms, which are in contact with each other by their sides, the area of the array is equal to 0.5–1.0 of the area of the plates. Plates with thickness of 0.5 to 40 mm and the honeycomb filler are made from heat-conducting material, for example, from copper or aluminium. Upper plate is made with possibility of mounting on an additional heat-conducting layer in the form of a layer of thermal paste of a light-emitting diode board with supply wires and LEDs fixed on its outer surface. Radiator is made in the form of a circle or a geometrical figure with at least three angles, or their combinations.
EFFECT: creation of easy-to-manufacture and reliable heat removal device with large dissipation area and its efficient removal, as well as broader technological capabilities associated with the possibility of installing a radiator in lighting devices of different shapes and designs.
