FIELD: road engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a road reflective marking element installed in the road surface to indicate any boundaries, namely a road reflector. The road reflector includes a body and two light-indicating parts located on opposite sides on the reflector body. The housing has a flat bottom rectangular surface with the ability to install it on the road surface, an upper flat rectangular surface and four sides. The body forms a truncated quadrangular pyramid, the lower base of which is the flat lower rectangular surface of the body, the upper base is the upper flat rectangular surface, and the trapezoidal side faces are the four sides of the body. A rectangular-shaped photovoltaic panel is installed on the top flat rectangular surface, and the light-signifying parts have LEDs. Inside the housing, electronics designed to receive electricity from a photovoltaic panel and create flashing LED light are installed. The upper flat rectangular surface of the reflector opposite the corners of the rectangular photovoltaic panel has protrusions directed upward above the level of the plane of the flat rectangular surface and above the level of the plane of the photovoltaic panel. On two opposite sides of the reflector body there is one hole each with the possibility of attaching the reflector to the road surface using fasteners inserted into the indicated holes.
EFFECT: extended service life of a reflector installed on the road surface with a photovoltaic panel.
