FIELD: road construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road construction, namely to road marking elements that ensure the visibility of this road marking in the dark. The optical elements are made built into the surface part by placing and temporarily fixing the optical elements on the inner surface of the casting mold, then pouring the working material of the retroreflector body into the casting mold, partially enveloping the optical elements with it, and then curing it to form a retroreflector body with optical lenses built into the surface part elements and separating them from the casting mold.

EFFECT: increase in operational reliability. A road retroreflector contains a retroreflector body with a surface part and optical elements. The retroreflector body is limited by at least the first side surface, the second side surface and the bottom surface.
