FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of articles from heat-resistant materials based on nickel oxide and stabilized zirconium oxide, operating at high temperatures up to 1,400 °C and aggressive media. Spherical nickel powder with particle size of 20–80 mcm is screened and mixed with 1–10 wt.% of nanodispersed powder of cubic or tetragonal modification of yttrium-stabilized zirconium dioxide YSZ. Obtained mixture is mixed in a planetary ball mill at 400–450 rpm for 5–6 hours to form a composite reinforced powder. Composite powder is compacted by selective laser fusion into preset volumetric shape. Process modes: air medium, laser speed in range of 100–600 mm/s, laser radiation power in range of 100–200 W, diameter of the laser spot on the surface area in range of 80–100 mcm, thickness of a single fused layer (roll pitch) 80 mcm. Formed primary metal-ceramic workpiece based on Ni-YSZ is subjected to high-temperature oxidation at temperatures in range of 900–1,000 °C in air.
EFFECT: formation of ceramic material NiO-YSZ with content of non-oxidised nickel of not more than 3 wt.%, linear shrinkage of not more than 15%, porosity of not more than 7 vol.%, having phase stability in air up to temperature of 1,400 °C.
