FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a ceramic-metal composite material. A layer of aluminium alloy powder reinforced with silicon carbide particles is applied to the build platform. Layer-by-layer selective laser melting of the powder is carried out to obtain a material blank. The powder is preliminarily subjected to vacuum drying at a temperature of 180-220°C. Selective laser fusion is carried out at a laser beam power of 200-500 W, a scanning speed of 500 to 3500 m/s, and a laser beam spot diameter of 80-150 mcm. After fusion of the powder, hot isostatic pressing of the material blank is carried out for 160–200 min at a pressure of 140–150 MPa and a temperature of 460–500°C.
EFFECT: reduction in porosity and an increase in the mechanical properties of the synthesized material, as well as a decrease in the content of oxygen gas impurities.
