FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to powder metallurgy, particularly to fabricating items out of heat resistant composite materials. It can be employed in power and transport engineering. The source powder mixture is obtained by means of mixing fine dispersed powder of oxide ceramics and granules of nickel aluminide of 20-70 mcm size. Raw stock is formed out of produced mixture; then it is baked under a stepped mode which initially facilitates sintering oxide ceramics and forming a ceramic frame, and further the mode supposes melting nickel aluminide with formation of continuous net of intermetallic structure.
EFFECT: producing items with density not less, than 95% and oxide phase contents not less, than 50% possessing high strength properties at low temperatures and heat resistance at operational temperatures up to 1350°C.
