FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention is intended for heating oil products or other liquid media in oil refining, chemical and other industries. Vertical tubular furnace includes a lined housing, a combustion chamber, a burner, a tubular coil made of two parts, an internal and an external one, which is installed coaxially to a barrel for supply of hot gases into a convection chamber with a coil, and a chimney. Convection chamber coil is made in the form of parallel six-pointed asterisk-shaped tubes connected on periphery by side tubes. Connection of six-pointed asterisk-shaped pipes to each other is carried out by means of nozzles located in their central parts, and side pipes — by means of cross-flows. Connections of asterisk-shaped pipes and side pipes alternate in height through one. Additional burners are installed between internal and external parts of tubular coil.

EFFECT: proposed design of vertical cylindrical tubular furnace provides intensive heating of liquid media.
