FIELD: experimental aerodynamics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental aerodynamics, in particular to aerodynamic plants (wind tunnels), and can be used to study in laboratory conditions the effect of icing on the flow kinematics and power parameters of the wind generator blade by laser Doppler anemometry (LDA), as well as for testing materials used in "arctic" conditions. Formation of a stable air flow in the device is performed in ventilation metal channels forming a closed circuit. Experimental object under test, for example, a wind generator blade element, is installed in the working channel. For this purpose, power is supplied to a centrifugal fan, a flow cryothermostat, a water supply system, a steam generator and a measuring complex (LDA), as well as a personal computer. Further, a centrifugal fan, a flow cryothermostat, a water supply system and a steam generator are successively switched on. Centrifugal fan is designed to create an air flow in a climatic wind tunnel. Air cooler is connected by the first system of pipelines to a flow cryothermostat, which is a circulation cooler, which includes a built-in sealed tank and a cooling liquid supply pump. Flow cryothermostat is intended for accurate temperature control.
EFFECT: possibility of measuring by laser Doppler anemometry profiles of flow velocity around element of wind generator blade in icing conditions and evaluation of icing effect on aerodynamics and power characteristics of wind generator blades.
