INSTALLATION FOR MODELING HYDRODYNAMIC AND CONVECTIVE PROCESSES IN RESERVOIRS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G09B23/12

Abstract RU 2748723 C1

FIELD: hydrodynamics; aerodynamics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of physical modeling of hydrodynamic, convective and aerodynamic processes in natural and artificial reservoirs and can be used to create an approximate model of temperature distributions over depth, characteristic of seas, oceans and other reservoirs with hydrological temperature changes. In the installation for modeling hydrodynamic and convective processes in reservoirs, containing a pool filled with water with a variable angle of inclination of the bottom and electric lamps located above the water surface for heating the liquid in the pool, a wind generator is introduced, made in the form of a system of fans with a thermoelectric module fixed on a rotary frame, which allows change the direction of the wind flow of each fan and obstacles imitating the relief of the pool bottom, and its front wall is made transparent and equipped with a heat-insulating layer. The objective of the invention is to expand the range of problems to be solved, obtained during experiments, and to increase the productivity of laboratory geophysical research.

EFFECT: providing possibility of varying the initial and boundary conditions during the experiment to increase the productivity of laboratory geophysical studies and expand the range of tasks to be solved.
