SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of articles transportation and can be used for automatic sorting of articles. Device comprises receiver, processor and transmitter. Receiver is configured to receive item measurement information. Processor is configured to select first deviation control signal or second deviation control signal based on article measurement information, first deviation control signal is intended for redirecting the article to a sorter configured to sort the article according to the sorting destination information corresponding to the article, second deviation control signal is intended for redirection of article to conveyor. Transmitter is configured to transmit a first or second deviation control signal to a deflecting device configured to redirect an article to a sorter or transporter.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of sorting and processing of a large number of articles.
