FIELD: production of construction materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of tiles or bricks and can be used in production of decorative articles for facing panels and blocks, for external and internal finishing of buildings and structures for various purposes at various plants, as well as in organizations producing construction materials. Method envisages preparation of a crude mixture by dosing and mixing of components, molding tiles and drying, where the crude mixture consists, wt %: cement 7–20, dye 1–5, plasticiser 0.1–3, water 1–7 and limestone mining wastes—finely dispersed limestone screenings, ground to granules of not more than 3 mm in diameter—the rest, wherein the obtained crude mixture is brought to a plastic consistency, the tiles are molded to form two opposite sides of the perimeter in the form of stepped ends, angles of inclination relative to horizontal plane of which are different in size and equal at one end—85°, and at the other end—107°, after molding the workpiece is subjected to pressing under pressure of 100–300 kg/cm² and room temperature for 1–5 s.

EFFECT: higher physical and mechanical properties, causing longer life of hyper-pressed tile in a wide range of weather conditions with simultaneously reduced labor costs.
