FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of applying an anti-icing coating on a surface in order to prevent or reduce sliding. Method of anti-icing treatment with wood chips includes primary application of wood chips having temperature of 5 °C, 7 °C, 10 °C or 15 °C, on ice surface at air temperature below 0 °C. At the same time wood chips are sprayed with water at the moment of its application on ice surface, and then repeated application of said wood chips on the ice coating surface after precipitation in the form of snow.
EFFECT: increasing the adhesion of shoes to the coating surface after ice melting, as well as increasing the ice surface roughness by using an anti-icing agent.
