FIELD: chemistry; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering and nuclear industry. Modular pressing plant is equipped with a pressing unit, a material supply unit, a barrel supply unit and an air cleaning unit. Pressing unit consists of a vertical pressing unit, a gate, two side pressing units, a barrel fixation unit and a housing. Housing is a structure of steel plates fastened by threaded connections. Material supply unit consists of a horizontal pressing unit, a fixed welded frame and a casing. Barrel feed unit is a conveyor consisting of a frame with rails mounted on it, a tensioner, a drive and a carriage for moving the barrel. Air cleaning unit consists of filter, fan, air outlet and suction branch pipe. Puncheons of side pressing units and horizontal pressing unit have semi-circular recesses. Rear wall of the housing is located opposite the window for supply of pressed materials and has a semi-circular recess.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create an installation for pressing of spent gas cleaning filters with possibility of readjustment of the installation for use as containers of different standard sizes and volumes of metal barrels by forming round briquettes with removal of dust from the pressing zone.
