FIELD: nuclear power. SUBSTANCE: packing-up line has an in-line device, situated in a caisson, for filling bags with radioactive waste and for compacting them, a heavy-duty press for brevetting bags with radioactive waste, a briquette accumulator, a device for feeding and removing containers for briquettes, devices for measuring the thickness of briquettes. The briquette accumulator is made like a multiposition disk. The device for filling bags with radioactive waste and for compacting them is built up of a portioner, a packing-up press for repressing radioactive waste bags, if required, a subassembly for removing, placing and squeezing covers of bags. The briquetting press is provided with bags centering device and an additional briquette thickness meter. Mounted in the briquette accumulator are two opposite horizontal pushers. The device for supplying and discharging the briquetting press is combined with the device for feeding and removing containers and is made in the form of three-position plate.
