FIELD: regulation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic gain control devices and can be used in receiving devices, in particular in receiving devices of radio relay communication. Result is ensured by introduction of two sample-and-hold devices, the second inputs of which are control ones. Input of the first sample-and-hold device is connected to the output by a logarithmic detector, and the output is connected to the combined inputs of the input signal level detection units. Input of the second sample-and-hold device is connected to the output of the logarithmic detector/controller, and the output is connected to the input of the DC amplifier.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities due to operation of the automatic gain control device in both half-duplex and full-duplex operating modes of the transceiver.
