SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science. Method for correction of metabolic imbalance of highly productive cows in the perinatal period involves the injection of a biostimulant containing succinic acid, ADS 2 fraction, oxytocin, formalin, novocaine, wherein preparation additionally contains sulphates of iron, copper, zinc, cobalt, polyvinyl alcohol, at the following ratio of components: succinic acid 10.0 g, ADS 2 fraction 40 ml, oxytocin 100 ml, formalin 4.0 ml, iron sulphate 0.2 g, copper sulphate 0.01 g, zinc sulphate 0.01 g, cobalt sulphate 0.1 g, polyvinyl alcohol 1.0 g, novocaine 2.5 g, wherein the preparation is administered intramuscularly in dose of 10 ml immediately after delivery and 15 days later.
EFFECT: invention improves reproductive function and to increase milk productivity of cows in the perinatal period taking into account the mineral depot replenishment of microelements.
