FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science. Method of correction of cows metabolism in complex physiological periods consists in feeding cows with iodometabolic fodder additive containing 50 ml of iodinol, 20 g of succinic acid, 500 ml of beet molasses, 200 g of sodium chloride, 7 g of iron sulphate, 1 g of copper sulphate, 3 g of cobalt sulphate, 3 g of zinc sulphate and the rest water up to 1 l. Composition is applied for 17 days before and 17 days after the delivery; 1/3 l of the fodder additive is preliminarily diluted in 3 liters of tap water and the morning portion of the fodder is pre-conditioned with 250 ml of the obtained solution.
EFFECT: invention enables effective correction of metabolic processes in pre- and postnatal cows with the possibility of obtaining a more resistant and viable litter.
