FIELD: nuclear power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in processing liquid radioactive wastes. Method of processing liquid radioactive wastes involves preliminary cleaning on mechanical, ultrafilters and reverse osmosis filters. To purify the radioactive solution, reverse osmosis technology is used, wherein radioactive solutions with pH 5 and initial salt content from 20 to 50 g/l are used for purification. Pressure of supplying the radioactive solution through the membrane is maintained in range of 3 to 4 MPa.
EFFECT: invention enables to achieve concentration of radionuclides in the permeate of less than 10 Bq/l.
