FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to oncology, urology, andrology, physical and rehabilitation medicine, medical rehabilitation of patients with prostate cancer, and concerns treating one of the lower urinary tract symptoms – nocturia. Performing local magnetic therapy on the operation area using a low-frequency low-intensity traveling pulsed magnetic field from the "АЛМАГ-01" apparatus, where the procedure parameters are: pulse repetition frequency – 6 Hz, magnetic induction – 20 mT, exposure – 22 min. Procedure is performed twice a day; the therapeutic course is 12 days.
EFFECT: method provides increasing the effectiveness of therapeutic exercises with reducing the severity of nocturia in the form of reducing the number of nocturnal micturitions, improve the quality of life of the patients after the radical prostatectomy while avoiding the prescription of pharmacological preparations.
