FIELD: control or regulation of internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aircraft gas turbine engine building, in particular to electronic digital automatic control systems with full responsibility of FADEC type, located on gas turbine engine (GTE). Novelty of the method for monitoring the thermal state of the electronic controller of a gas turbine engine consists in the fact that the following is additionally formed: second preset value T2AIset of air temperature inside electronic controller, first preset value T1AOset of air temperature outside the electronic controller, second preset value T2AOset' of air temperature outside the electronic controller, also simultaneously measuring temperature TAO of air outside the electronic controller; wherein T1AIset<T2AIset, T1AOset<T2AOset; and in case if TAI≥T1AIset and TAO≥T1AOset, then in the electronic controller a warning discrete signal "Increased controller temperature" is generated, which is supplied to the monitor for the pilot; and in case if TAI≥T2AIset and TAO≥T2AOset, then in the electronic controller an emergency discrete signal "Limit temperature of the controller" is generated, which is also transmitted to the monitor of the pilot.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase reliability of determination of overheating of electronic regulator, and also to minimize transitions of pre-emergency state of regulator to emergency level.
