FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument making and can be used in designing distributed measurement systems, control systems, telemetry, remote control and security systems for combining information exchange and power supply through an insulating transformer of a single-cycle low-power voltage converter, mainly in multichannel devices for collecting information from galvanically isolated measuring channels. Substance of the invention consists in a method of transmitting data through an isolating transformer of a single-cycle low-power supply voltage converter. Master microcontroller generates control pulses with variable duty ratio or duration, which control the key of the driving part of the single-cycle voltage converter, dividing the switching period of the key of the driving part into four operation intervals. After the key of the driving part is closed, the transformers are magnetized, energy is transmitted to the driven parts of the device and through the voltage surge limiting circuits, the information with the polling start code or the number of one of the polled slave microcontrollers is transmitted to the slave parts of the device. Further, all keys are opened. After that, information is transmitted from one of the driven parts, which has determined its order by means of its microcontroller, to the driving part, due to control by the microcontroller of the driven part by switching the key of this driven part. Arising pulses through the transformer and then through the filtration circuit are fed to the input of the master microcontroller. Further, all keys are opened and that transformer, which was involved in information transfer, is demagnetized.
EFFECT: combination of power transmission and reception/transmission of information along two-wire lines with galvanic isolation in multichannel devices for collecting data from sensors and measuring channels, simplification of the device implementing the method, as well as broader functional capabilities of single-cycle supply voltage converters.
