SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for automatic locking of container loaded onto trailer or railway car. Device for automatic locking of container includes cylindrical housing (10); upper plate (20) installed on the upper part of the housing; lower plate (30) installed under the housing, lifting unit (40) installed to move up and down in the housing; locking device (50) installed for rotation to the left and to the right for locking and unlocking the container; guide, guiding the up-down movement and the rotary movement of the locking device; first resilient support member elastically supporting the lifting unit; and a second resilient support member resiliently upwardly supporting the locking device.

EFFECT: invention provides an effect in which the container is automatically locked or unlocked by its own weight when it is loaded or unloaded, therefore, heavy containers can be safely transported always in a locked state and malfunction, or poor functioning of the locking device can be prevented.
