FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry and marine medicine, and is intended for use in determining the onset of barodontalgia in a tooth filled for deep caries. Initially, the initial state of the filled teeth microcirculation (Min) is assessed by means of a computerized laser capillary blood flow analyser. Then a person is placed in a pressure chamber at pressure of 0.4 MPa for 125 minutes according to a decompression mode when breathing air, wherein pressure reduction to first stop from depth of 30 m to 22 m is performed in 2 minutes with subsequent stops of duration: at 22 m – 3 minutes, at 20 m – 3 minutes, at 18 m – 3 minutes, at 16 m – 4 minutes, at 14 m – 4 minutes, at 12 m – 4 minutes, at 10 m – 5 minutes, at 8 m – 6 minutes, at 6 m – 7 minutes, at 4 m – 9 minutes and at 2 m – 13 minutes, with an exit from the last stop to surface for 1–3 minutes. After recovery from high pressure, microcirculation of the analysed tooth (Mp) is re-evaluated. Then the risk of barodontalgia in the filled tooth (R) is calculated by formula where R is the risk of barodontalgia in the filled tooth, %; Min is an indicator of microcirculation of a filled tooth in conditions of normal atmospheric pressure, perfusion units; Mp is an indicator of microcirculation of a filled tooth after exposure to high pressure in a pressure chamber, perfusion units, if R is less than or equal to 8.7%, then the person being tested is referred to a group with a low risk of barodontalgia; if 8.7 < R ≤ 12.1%, then the person being tested is referred to a group with an average risk of barodontalgia; if the value is more than 12.1%, then the person being tested is referred to a group with a high risk of barodontalgia.
EFFECT: due to determination of possibility of barodontalgia in filled tooth, method ensures safety of human occupational activity under water.
