FIELD: control and measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation, in particular to monitoring and measuring concentration of molecules of harmful substances in a gas medium, and can be used in ship environmental and process monitoring systems, control of emissions of hazardous substances from ship power plants (SPP). Disclosed laser meter of concentration of harmful substances in the flow of exhaust gases moving in gas ducts of SPP elements contains a radiation source in the form of a laser, rectangular triangular prism with the possibility of turning the laser radiation through 90°, converging and focusing lenses located on one optical axis at a distance from each other, interference light filter with maximum transmission at the wavelength of the band of Raman scattering of light by molecules of harmful substances, a photodetector, a data collection board, a computer with specialized software. At that, for input of laser radiation into flow of spent gases of SPP element, laser meter is equipped with diaphragm with hole of 40 mm, installed with possibility of adjoining communication with gas duct cavity.

EFFECT: possibility of measuring concentration of harmful substances such as carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides and sulphur oxides in the flow of exhaust gases moving in gas ducts of SPP elements.
