FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method is based on using the maximum reflection coefficient of rays propagating in the chemosensory film due to total internal reflection on one surface of the film and an additional highly reflective substrate coating, as well as multi-beam light interference. The device comprises a light source, an interference chemosensory film deposited on the mirror surface of the glass prism, an analyte delivery system, a recording system measuring the change in the angular reflection spectrum in the presence of the analyte being tested.
EFFECT: increasing the sensitivity and selectivity of molecules of gases or liquids in the analysed analyte, increasing the speed, simplifying the design.
