FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a prilling basket for prilling a liquid, as well as use of a prilling basket for prilling molten urea and producing solid prill of urea. Prilling basket for liquid prilling includes a rotating unit, a vibration unit, a magnetostrictive drive installed to create vibration of the vibration unit, which is part of the rotating assembly and rigidly connected to the vibration assembly, and the basket has a sliding connector adapted to transmit electrical energy to the said drive.
EFFECT: providing control of vibration of the prilling basket to obtain a monodisperse flow of drops.
